CHARACTER 1 - DR. BILL DING

• Middle-aged male (aged 45-60)

• English-speaking, American or British accent preferable.

• Charismatic and smooth-talking, wistful but clearly has an unhinged, fanatical side. Watch this for a tone & acting guide for the character.

• Acts as the host of a program that details alien phenomena & UFO occurrence testimonies called “Praetorian Watch“.

• Is apparently a doctor but never goes into details. He will lend credibility to the program. He is stern, serious, and warm. His progression throughout the program goes from academic & serious to espousing ridiculous otherworldly & cult-like rhetoric (but still in a serious, slightly fanatical tone). 

• Must be comfortable improvising and getting into character, good subtle facials

• Script & line memorization strongly recommended. Script provided upon casting application. Teleprompter will be available.

• $100CAD payment. About 2 hours of shooting, max.

• Wardrobe: Tucked in pale dress shirt, dark slacks and colored tie (no green!). Simple suit would be perfect, as pictured. Actor must bring their own wardrobe and we can adjust if needed.

CHARACTER 2 - DEMY BOZOWSKI

• Younger woman of any ethnicity (age 25-40)

• English-speaking

• She is brought onto the program to be interviewed as an alien abductee. She posits a story about her abduction, and doesn’t seem very fazed by the fact that she went through such a traumatic experience.

• She’s serious and stern, but still somewhat flippant and aloof - she talks very matter of factly, dryly, and sometimes intensely, saying very odd things with a straight face. Watch this for a tone & acting guide for the character.

• Script & line memorization encouraged. Script provided upon casting application.

• $80CAD payment. About 1 hour of shooting, max 1.5.

• Wardrobe: Dress slacks and a sweater of any kind. Huge plus if hair is similar to the pictured hairstyle. Actor brings their own wardrobe and does their own makeup.

• Makeup: Very simple, bare “TV-style” makeup style as pictured.

• IMPROVISATIONAL SKILL A HUGE PLUS! This character has the most leeway with how she can act. You can have fun with it.

CHARACTER 3 - SHERIFF WULDMAN

• Middle-aged white male (aged 50-65)

• English-speaking, southern accent preferable . Watch this for a tone & acting guide for the character.

• Overweight build

• He’s a sheriff with the sheriff department of Happy, Texas. The type to clearly be resting on his laurels, he seems like the typical ‘donut cop’, an authority figure that seems to not really care about things and has had the job for decades. He denies the existence of aliens and the footage, and continually denies everything shown.

• No script memorization required, teleprompter will be used to give the character a robotic feel.

• $50CAD payment for an hour of shooting, maximum.

• Wardrobe: Sheriff shirt with dark dress slacks. Any hairstyle. If actor does not have a suitable shirt, a shirt will be provided. Clean-shaven or with mustache.

CHARACTER 4 - Director will ding

• Middle-aged white male (aged 50-65)

• English-speaking, southern accent preferable .

• Slightly overweight to overweight build.

• He’s director of operations in the police department of Happy, Texas. The type to clearly be resting on his laurels, he’s a suit that is hiding something deep-rooted. He vehemently denies the existence of aliens and the footage, and serves no purpose other than to continually deny everything shown very sternly.

• No script memorization required, teleprompter will be used to give the character a robotic feel.

• $50CAD payment for an hour of shooting, maximum.

• Wardrobe: Dark suit of any kind, as long as it’s black as pictured. Clean-shaven or with mustache.
